DILG Davao City augmented 25 Contact Tracers to the National Capital Region
Twenty-five (25) Contact Tracers from DILG Davao City were virtually deployed to the National Capital Region (NCR) on March 22, 2021 per Regional Order No. 2021-48 signed by RD Alex Roldan due to the spike in the number of confirmed Covid-19 case in NCRfor a swift and accurate contact tracing to break the chain of transmission. One of the main roles of the Contact Tracers is to gather data information from the index to close contacts to prevent new infections, profile close contacts and manage amplifying events by advising them for quarantine or isolation. The first case handling of the team was on April 6, 2021 and the augmentation lasted until April 30, 2021.

Casas ensure close coordination among the members of the team through virtual and face to face huddles. As a gesture of support, the DILG City Office through the initiative of CD Vicky P.
