The DILG XI and the Kasilak Development Foundation, Inc. sign a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for another Third-Party Monitoring (TPM)
The DILG XI and the Kasilak Development Foundation, Inc. sign a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for another Third-Party Monitoring (TPM) on July 18, 2023 at the DILG XI Conference Room.
“Among all the regions, we are the fastest implementer of the third-party monitoring where we saw the impact of the SBDP projects to the communities,” RD Alex C. Roldan said as he commended the efforts of the Kasilak during the first third-party monitoring.
He also emphasized the significant effect of the partnership DILG XI has with the academe in Davao Region where the civil engineering students assist in the provision of technical assistance to local government units through preparation of Detailed Engineering Designs (DEDs) and other technical documents.
“Through these initiatives, we all expand the benefit of the SBDP and have better connection with the communities. We expose these students as early as now and develop that awareness and commitment,” RD Roldan added.
The TPM will be conducted from July to October 2023, targeting 60 ongoing and completed projects under FY 2021-2022 SBDP, in order to ensure transparent, accountable, and responsive project implementation and to provide independent perspective on project implementation and performance.
“As we engage with the government, we look forward and we fully commit to deliver what is expected from us,” Mr. Joemil S. Montebon said, the Executive Director of Kasilak.
