Regional Dagyaw 2023 Open Government Town Hall Meeting: “Transportasyon sa Davao Region, Unsa na?”

DILG XI, in a concerted effort with the other members of the Dagyaw Regional Technical Working Group (RTWG) namely, DBM XI, PIA XI, Kasilak Development Foundation, Inc., and Ateneo de Davao University, conducted the Regional Dagyaw 2023 Open Government Town Hall Meeting: “Transportasyon sa Davao Region, Unsa na?” on September 28, 2023 at the Ritz Hotel Garden Oases Covered Court in Bo. Obrero, Davao City.

This year’s Dagyaw Dabaw provided an avenue for discourse between the government and the Dabaweños on the pressing transportation issues and concerns of the riding public in the region.

The Dagyaw Town Hall Meeting were participated by Punong Barangays and Sangguniang Barangay Chairman on the Committee on Transportation in Davao City, transport sector representatives from the Association of Davao Trike Unit and Trimotors Technology Corporation, students from Holy Cross College of Davao, Ateneo De Davao University, and various road riders associations in Davao City.

Resource Persons from various national and regional line agencies were present during the event, specifically the Department of Transportation (DOTr), Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) XI, Land Transportation Office (LTO) XI, Philippine National Police – Highway Patrol Group (HPG) XI, as well as representatives from the City Government of Davao and the City Transport and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO).
