Representatives from the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) handed over last February 23, 2024, to the DILG Regional Office the CY 2023 Results of the Citizen Satisfaction Index System (CSIS) implemented in Davao City.
In response, the DILG XI through its Officer-in-Charge Abdullah V. Matalam, issued the Certificate of Completion to USeP for the completion and recognition of their services as a partner local resource institute in the implementation of the CSIS.
The CSIS is a set of data tools designed to collect and generate relevant citizens’ feedback on the local government’s service delivery performance and on the citizens’ general satisfaction. The CSIS conceptualizes the citizen as the center of local government performance. The CSIS data can be used as the basis for agenda-setting to make LGUs more attuned and responsive to the needs of the people, and may also be used by various stakeholders pursuing valuable contributions to local and national socio-economic development.
The DILG is committed to scaling up interventions towards a kind of governance that values transparency, accountability, participation, and performance.
