DILG XI – LGMED Oriented the HUC/Provincial Focal Persons on the LTIA Assessment CY 2024 on February 29, 2024, at the Apo View Hotel, Davao City
The Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentive Awards (LTIA) is an avenue of granting economic and other incentives to the Lupong Tagapamayapa (LT) for their outstanding contributions to attain the objectives of the Katarungang Pambarangay (KP).
In preparation for the upcoming assessment for CY 2024, the DILG XI-Local Government Monitoring and Evaluation Division (LGMED) initiated an orientation to the HUC/Provincial Focal Persons to cascade relevant information on the conduct of LTIA assessment and ensure proper encoding and submission through the LTIA Information System.
LGOO VI Jessica L. Itil and LGOO II Mary Rose M. Alibiano discussed the following: (1) Overview of the Memorandum Circular (MC) 2023- 022 entitled, Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards Enhanced Criteria and Guidelines; (2) 2024 LTIA Schedule per MC 2024-011; and (3) Administrative Concerns. Also, each indicator/criteria in the technical notes were deliberated and reviewed together with the HUC/Provincial LTIA Focal Persons. After the discussion, an open forum was conducted which led to recommendations, sharing of best practices/strategies, and clarification of issues and concerns. With the constant support and coordination of our field officers, the conduct of this activity was successful.
