Conduct of Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan (BIDA) Kabataang Malaya sa Droga: 2024 International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT) Youth Forum on July 24, 2024, at the Kaputian Beach Park, Island Garden City of Samal (IGaCoS), Davao del Norte, participated by a total of 90 BIDA partners and stakeholders from the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation, and other youth groups and organizations of IGaCoS, Davao del Norte, including resource speakers from PNP-PRO 11, PDEA 11, CSWDO of IGaCoS, and facilitators from DILG 11.

A notable segment of the activity was the “Usapang BIDA ng mga Kabataan,” aimed at empowering the youth to identify primary drug-related issues in their areas and propose recommendations, commitments, and plans of action involving concerned stakeholders. Moreover, the event concluded with the recitation and signing of a Pledge of Commitment led by the SK Federation President of IGaCoS. This pledge emphasized the importance of community solidarity and dedication to sustaining anti-drug efforts, highlighting the role of youth leadership in driving meaningful change.
