DILG XI Conducts Batch 2 Training on the Formulation of Local Investment and Incentives Code (LIIC) and Workforce Development Plan (WDP)

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region XI conducted the Batch 2 Training on the Formulation of the Local Investment and Incentives Code (LIIC) and Workforce Development Plan (WDP) on August 26-29, 2025 at The Ritz Hotel at Garden Oases, Bo. Obrero, Davao City.

The activity gathered representatives from select LGUs across Davao Region to enhance their knowledge on policies that promote investments, generate jobs, and support local economic growth. The training emphasized the LIIC as a tool to create investor-friendly environments, while the WDP was presented as a strategy to align the workforce with market needs.

Workshops and guided sessions allowed participants to apply policy formulation processes relevant to their local contexts. The initiative reflects DILG XI’s commitment to strengthening LGU capacities for inclusive and sustainable economic development.
