Strengthening Partnerships for Inclusive and Resilient Communities
DILG Region XI joined the ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) under the Social Protection, Inclusion, and Gender Equality (SPRING) Program, together with the Provincial Government of Davao Oriental, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), and Cowater International Inc.
The agreement formalizes a collaborative effort to strengthen adaptive and shock-responsive social protection systems at the local level. Through the partnership, participating agencies and stakeholders will work together to advance initiatives that promote social inclusion, gender equality, disability-responsive programming, and community resilience.
As a partner agency, DILG Region XI remains committed to supporting local government units in enhancing governance systems and integrating responsive and inclusive approaches into local policies, plans, and programs. This collaboration underscores the importance of whole-of-government and whole-of-society efforts in ensuring that vulnerable sectors are protected, empowered, and given equitable access to opportunities and services.
