DILG XI Holds Safe Spaces Act Orientation During Kapehan sa Onse

As part of its continuing commitment to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region XI conducted an Orientation on the Safe Spaces Act on July 13, 2026, at the LGRRC Conference Room and simultaneously via Zoom during its regular Kapehan sa Onse.

Republic Act No. 11313 (Safe Spaces Act)

During the orientation, Atty. Lara discussed the salient provisions of the Safe Spaces Act, with particular emphasis on promoting a harassment-free workplace, defining the rights and responsibilities of employees and employers, and establishing mechanisms for preventing and addressing gender-based sexual harassment in the workplace.
