JRTF-ELCAC XI Holds Orientation on the National Action Plan for Unity, Peace, and Development (NAP-UPD) 2025–2028

The Joint Regional Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (JRTF-ELCAC) XI Secretariat, through the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region XI, conducted a Virtual Orientation on the National Action Plan for Unity, Peace, and Development (NAP-UPD) 2025–2028 on July 13, 2026 via Zoom.

The activity served as a preparatory initiative for the upcoming 2027 JRTF-ELCAC XI OPLAN Workshop, equipping member agencies with a deeper understanding of the national strategic framework that guides the implementation of the Whole-of-Nation Approach toward achieving inclusive, sustainable, and lasting peace.

The orientation was attended by members of JRTF-ELCAC XI and featured distinguished officials from the National Secretariat of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) as resource persons:

Strategic Focus Areas: The resource persons discussed the salient provisions of the NAP-UPD 2025–2028, highlighting its strategic priorities, implementation mechanisms, and the vital role of government agencies in fostering unity, addressing the root causes of insurgency, and advancing peace and development.

The orientation provided participants with valuable insights to help ensure that the 2027 JRTF-ELCAC XI OPLAN is aligned with the national peace and development agenda.
