DILG Accreditation Training on Constructors’ Performance Evaluation System (CPES)

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), through the Project Development and Management Unit (PDMU), conducted the Accreditation Training on CPES under the DILG-PDMU CPD Program last July 28–30, 2026 at The Ritz Hotel at Garden Oases, Davao City.

Resource persons from the Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (CIAP) – Philippine Overseas and Domestic Construction Board (PODCB) were invited to share their expertise, while participants — composed of DILG Engineers and Civil Engineers from 19 selected LGUs — earned 5 CPD points for their professional development.

The training aimed to strengthen institutional capacity in evaluating contractor performance for government infrastructure projects. Over three days, participants engaged in sessions covering CPES policies, accreditation requirements, and compliance standards.

This initiative equipped technical personnel with the knowledge and skills to apply CPES methodologies effectively, thereby promoting transparency, accountability, and quality assurance in public construction projects.
