DILG Region XI, through its Regional Information and Communications Technology Unit (RICTU), successfully conducted the FY 2026 Rollout of the Local Government Unit Support System-Cities and Municipalities Information Management System (LGUSS-CMIMS) held on August 5–6, 2026 at the Star Hotel, Davao City.

The two-day activity placed strong emphasis on the comprehensive deployment and operational utilization of the Document Management System for Local Government Units (DMS4LGUs)—a digital platform designed to modernize records management, digitize official government records, strengthen records security, eliminate fragmented paper-based processes, and significantly improve internal workflows and transparency across local government offices.

The engagement featured intensive hands-on training sessions, system walkthroughs, and technical workshops focusing on document tracking, archiving protocols, and data security standards. Technical assistance was likewise provided to guide participants through system configuration and address operational requirements for smooth implementation.

The activity concluded with a synthesis and way forward session, highlighting the Department’s continued commitment to driving digital transformation and empowering local government units with secure, reliable, and innovative tools for efficient public service delivery.
