DILG XI confers the Most Outstanding Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) CY 2023 to eight Barangays!

The LTIA, conducted yearly, is the department’s manner of giving due recognition to the efficiency, commitment and creativity of lupong tagapamayapa members in resolving conflicts within the community, which in turn, greatly contributed to the over-all vision of the Department of a peaceful and harmonious community where people live happily!

The awardees are indeed the perfect examples of what effective governance at the local level should be: they rose above mediocrity and exerted, even exhausted all possible means, to serve, and give the best service their constituents deserve.

The ceremony was graced by Dir. Debie T. Torres of BLGS who imparted that “the effective partnership and collaboration with and between the field officers, our MLGOOs, and the barangay officials, that the Lupon Tagapamayapa is really able to fully implement the Katarungang Pambarangay Law in the barangay level, realizing the dream of living in a peaceful and harmonious community”.

The ceremony was held at the Ritz Hotel at Garden Oases, Bo. Obrero, Davao City last 30 June 2023.
