The DILG XI – Local Government Monitoring Evaluation spearheaded the conduct of Rollout Training on the Localized National Action Plan on Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (PCVE) Module and Orientation on the Early Warning, Prevention, and Response (EWPR) to Risks of Violent Extremist Groups on 16-18 July 2024 at the Apo View Hotel, Camus St., Davao City.

The DILG Davao Region and DILG-Bureau of Local Government Development (BLGD), in close collaboration with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), and Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA), successfully organized the Mindanao-wide Electronic Local Government Unit (eLGU) System Caravan on July 11, 2024, at the Ritz Hotel at Garden Oases, Bo. Obrero, Davao City.

In a proactive move towards enhancing disaster resilience, a significant 2-day event titled “Regional Flooding, Earthquake and Rain-induced Landslides Dialogue Series Towards Resilient Dabawenyos sa Bagong Pilipinas” took place on July 10-11, 2024, at Emilia Hall, Arman’s Restaurant, Tagum City, Davao del Norte.

During the recent Kapehan sa Onse forum organized by the Department of the Interior and Local Government Region XI (DILG XI), Atty. Shaniz Abalorio-Cañete presented an in-depth discussion on the Safe Space Act (Republic Act No. 11313).

The event began with a series of morning activities designed to promote health and unity among participants. A Fun Run kickstarted the day, followed by an energetic Zumba session and the highlight of the morning, the BIDA dance.
